Bison Steak with Red Wine Garlic Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1.5 Lb of Bison Ribeye steak
  • 3 onions medium size
  • 2 cups of red wine
  • 4 tbsp of organic olive oil mayonnaise
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 10 cloves of garlic
  • 2 stalks of fresh rosemary leaves
  • 2 tbsp of Coconut Teriyaki Amino sauce
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 big orange slices

Instructions

  1. Cut the Ribeye steak into big pieces

    Cut the onions in half and slice them

    Mince the garlic or use the press equipment for it

    Cut two big orange slices into pieces

    Place the skillet on the stove over the medium heat.

    Add some olive oil (extra virgin). Put the pieces of Bison into the skillet and lightly brown each side.

    Add the onions to the skillet and stir them with the bison’s pieces. Let the onions cook until the onions are tender.

    Add red wine, mayonnaise, salt, black pepper, Teriyaki Coconut Aminos, bay leaves and the orange to the skillet and stir ingredients together.

    Press and add garlic into skillet and stir it again.

    Cover skillet and let it cook for one hour and a half or two hours, depending on preferred meat tenderness.

    Stir it every 30 min while cooking.

    Add rosemary leaves 10 min before its ready slightly stirring all the ingredients together.

    Turn the heat off in 10 min.
