Oatmeal with Fruits and Berries

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of organic Quick oats
  • 1 ¾ cup of water or any type of milk
  • ¼ cup of fresh or frozen blueberries
  • ¼ cup of raisins
  • 1/3 of sliced banana
  • 1 tbsp of pumpkin seeds
  • 6 pieces of almonds or mix of different nuts
  • 2 sliced strawberries
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • 1-2 tbsp of grass fed pasture raised butter
  • Dash of Salt
  • 1 tbsp of organic raw honey optional

Instructions

  1. Place a saucepan on the stove over medium heat, bring water and salt to a boil.

    Stir in oats. Boil for 1-2 min, stirring occasionally. Turnoff heat. Add the rest of the ingredients (except cinnamon, banana and strawberries) into the saucepan and stir with oatmeal.

Recipe Notes

Decorate the top of your oatmeal with sliced bananas and strawberries, and sprinkle some cinnamon over the bowl before serving.
