Andouille Sausages with Peas and Broccoli in Coconut Milk Gravy

Servings 5 portions

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of sliced ready to heat sausages
  • ¾ cup of petite green peas
  • 1 cup of broccoli florets
  • ¾ cup of coconut milk
  • 1 tsp of arrowroot flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp of Coconut Aminos Teriyaki sauce.
  • Romaine green salad leaves 4-5 leaves

Instructions

  1. Place skillet on the stove over medium heat. 

    Add extra virgin olive oil and sausages to the skille,t and sauté until the sausages are slightly golden.

    Add peas and broccoli to the sausages and put the lid on. Sauté for 5 min.

    Remove the lid, pour coconut milk over the sausages and sprinkle arrowroot flour.

    Mix together and add salt and pepper. 

    Cover and cook until the gravy is slightly thick.

    Turn off the heat.

Recipe Notes

You can serve it on Romaine green lettuce leaves or with any type of grains you prefer.
